All meetings between Standout Arts representatives and potential or current clients shall be conducted as follows:
1. Remotely: Standout Arts representatives will make all reasonable efforts to conduct all meetings within a virtual environment such as by phone or video conferencing. Only when remote meetings are not possible due to the client or potential client’s request or needs or limitations:
2. At Client or Potential Client’s Location: Standout Arts shall refrain from suggesting or recommending public gathering places (coffeehouses, cafes, restaurants, co-working spaces) for client meetings. Instead, if meetings cannot be conducted remotely, meetings are to be held at the client or potential client’s place of business/office. Only when neither remote meetings OR client or potential client location meetings are not possible:
3. At Client or Potential Client’s Suggested Public Location: Standout Arts shall ask that the client or potential client suggest a public space in which to conduct the proposed meeting. The representative of Standout Arts should use verbiage that aligns with the following sentiment: “Please suggest a public location for our meeting that you feel is safe, comfortable and convenient for you.”
FACE-COVERINGS MUST BE WORN BY ALL REPRESENTATIVES OF STANDOUT ARTS DURING ANY MEETING - OR WHEN PRESENT IN ANY PUBLIC, INDOOR SPACE - WHILE CONDUCTING ANY FORM OF BUSINESS OR TASK ASSOCIATED WITH STANDOUT ARTS. FACE-COVERINGS MAY BE REMOVED ONLY WHILE EATING AND DRINKING OR ONLY AS ALLOWED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS STATED BY ANY PUBLIC PLACE AT ANY TIME OR BY CURRENT PUBLIC HEALTH AND STATEWIDE MANDATES AND GUIDELINES.
Representatives of Standout Arts are to adhere to these and all other health and safety restrictions and guidelines as expressed by local, state, and federal officials, including – but not limited to – the practice of “social-distancing” and the wearing of face coverings.
Until further notice, all internal meetings between Standout Arts team members are to be held virtually or suspended until a later time.
As independent subcontractors, representatives of Standout Arts are encouraged to use their own, personal discretion in any situation where health and safety are a concern. Standout Arts does NOT REQUIRE any of its representatives or agents to engage in ANY activity or be placed in ANY situation where the agent or representative feels or perceives any level of personal discomfort or sense of danger. The choice to accept meetings, attend events, travel to specific locations, connect with specific individuals, and to accept any project rests solely on the independent subcontractor.
Standout Arts does NOT take disciplinary action against its team members or representatives who opt out of any project where there is a personal sense of danger or a perceived threat to anyone’s health and safety. Should any team member or representative be personally uncomfortable in any location, assignment, task, project or position, each individual team member has a right to request reassignment or amended instructions that alleviate concerns as deemed satisfactory by the team member or representative.
All representatives of Standout Arts are independent contractors and are responsible - and liable - for their own actions which may result in consequences such as penalties, fines, or disciplinary actions (internally and externally) for failure to adhere to these guidelines and all state and federal public guidelines. Standout Arts, as a business, relies on the guidance and recommendations of the Virginia Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.
Representatives are independent agents who are required to adhere to the policies set forth in this document, as mandated by Standout Arts, and are independently responsible for, in full, all personal choices related to health and safety.
Standout Arts and its representatives are expected to remain abreast of up-to-date information regarding COVID-19, as well as new or updated restrictions and guidelines that are outlined by local, state, and federal health officials. All guidelines within this document may be amended as needed to better align with current state and federal health guidelines, restrictions, mandates or requirements.
